The coastal city of Genoa is located in a privileged location in the boot of Italy.
The old port is Genoa’s biggest pride and its centre is full of valuable historical monuments and large municipal parks. The Genova Brignole railway station is located in the centre of Genoa, in Piazza Verdi square. This is the second most important and largest station in the city. Built in 1905, the station has been expanded and now provides access to the city’s trains, the public bus service and a taxi station. Near the Genova Brignole railways station is the Spianata dell’Acquasola Park, a vast green area in the middle of the city that is perfect for taking long walks or going for a bike ride. At the entrance to this municipal park is the Church of Santa Caterina and the Porta dell’Olivella gate, both historical monuments that you cannot miss. Also in the area is the Arco della Vittoria arch, known as the ‘Monumento ai Caduti’. It was built in honour of the Genoese who died during World War I and opened its doors in 1931. In order to have a relaxed visit to all of these attractions in Genoa, we recommend parking your vehicle at one of our Saba car parks, which are always located close to the city’s most important tourist attractions and are available to the public 24 hours a day
