The only sixteenth-century style garden in the Verona, the Giardino Giusti offer marvelous paths among nature, art and history where its possible to admire on the left of the magnificent cypress-lined boulevard, dividing the garden in two, the typical Italian-style garden, with flower collections, Roman remains, mythological statues, acoustic caves and fountains and mazes made out of bushes; while on the right side of the boulevard theres the forest, where nature is queen. All this will take you to an overlook where youll be able to enjoy a suggestive view over the city, famous, among other things, for the Shakespearean tragedy set here. The garden was created in the 1400s, when the Giusti family decided to make this place its residence and start their wool-dying business here. After that, a few modifications were made, so that today we can appreciate this wonder of nature. Before entering this corner of Verona, which will take you in another time and another place, we suggest you park your car in one of the nearby parking lots, leaving behind our modern day frenzy too. You can choose the Arsenale parking lot, in piazza Arsenale, the Isolo parking lot, in via Ponte Pignolo, and the Arena parking lot, in via M. Bentegodi.
